From live vocals and show direction to songwriting workshops and one-on-one mentoring, I offer a suite of creative services designed to inspire, educate, and elevate. Whether you’re planning an event, developing original work, or supporting young artists, I bring over a decade of professional experience to every collaboration.
With over a decade’s experience as a professional vocalist, I am available to be engaged for event singing. Whether you need someone to sing the national anthem, entertain a crowd, provide ambient, atmospheric music, or create a tailored set and performance piece for a themed event, I would love to chat to you at performing at your next corporate or community event.
Artist mentorship
Having created a number of successful original cabaret works, and being engaged as a cabaret mentor for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, I have a wealth of knowledge to share with my clients in the creation of original work. In tailored mentor sessions, I will provide an objective outside eye to hone and strengthen your original work, both in the writing and performance. Whether you opt for a one-off feedback session or ongoing collaboration throughout your creative process, together we can strengthen structure and form, ensure clarity of storytelling, hone performance elements, and heighten the impact of your work for an audience.
"Millicent Sarre was the most incredible and supportive mentor I could’ve asked for in my creative process... She created a really safe space for me to workshop my show and perform my material for someone for the first time. I ended up winning a weekly award for emerging artist at the Adelaide Fringe and Mim was a really important person in the entire creative process."

Songwriting Workshop
Original songwriting is at the heart of my artistic practice, and through tailored workshops, I am able to share my songwriting process to empower musicians in their songwriting journey. My songwriting workshop has been well received by high school music students, young artistic professionals, and burgeoning cabaret artists alike. Available as a 90 minute, 3 hour, or full-day experiences, the workshop includes resources and interactive group songwriting, and is available to book for school groups, community groups and Arts organisations.
“Mim’s songwriting workshop was a revelation. Guiding us on a seamless progression through essential knowledge, her diamonds of wisdom were distilled into clear and easily understood handouts. The workshop itself was fabulously entertaining, sprinkled with vignettes from her years of hard work perfecting her craft, and culminating in the creation of a song. Mim’s genius is in making it all seem easy, running a slick, polished workshop that felt more like a delicious backstage party. Five stars!!”
